RoHS 3 - Declaration of Conformity
The form certifies that QuartzCom products comply fully with the requirements of the EU Directive 2011/65/EU (restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment - RoHS) and extension 2015/863 and the new RoHS Directive 2015/863/EU (RoHS 3). It comes into effect to amend Annex II to EU RoHS 2 (Directive 2011/65/EU) to add 4 phthalates onto the list of restricted substances.
The following substances are covered by the scope of the directive:
- lead (Pb) (0,1%)
- mercury (Hg) (0,1%)
- cadmium (Cd) (0,01%)
- hexavalent chromium (Cr VI) (0,1%)
- polybrominated biphenyls (PBB) (0,1%)
- polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE) (0,1%)
- bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) (0,1%)
- butyl benzyl phthalate (BBP) (0,1%)
- dibutyl phthalate (DBP) (0,1%)
- diisobutyl phthalate (DIBP) (0,1%)
